my laptop has plenty of space but sims wont download?

Hi guys, I'm having issues with Sims not downloading on my Macbook Air, I bought Sims 4 near a week ago and since then Origin wont let my down load the game because its saying I don't have enough space, mind you I have 50gb and the download size is 14.61gb , and size after is 15.39gb? So please help me!!!

    Did you buy just the base game? Or some packs as well? Have you emptied your trash and Downloads folder to free up space?
