I wonder why the Sims 4 isn’t in the EA file - that’s showing up in my Applications folder. Is this part of the problem - that they seem to have downloaded and saved in different places? And the Sims Legacy Edition just looks like a saved folder whilst the Sims 4 Game looks like an actual application - does that mean anything?
Im so confused.

Your Sims 4 Legacy Edition folder is the equivalent of the Sims 4 folder for Metal supported Macs and is where your saves etc. are.
Is the Sims 4 folder in your Applications folder actually named The Sims 4 Packs? This is where your packs are now installed to and should not be confused with the Sims 4 folder explained above.
