@elinejosefineh Its not just the Simms game that has trouble. I'm having trouble playing Magic Arena.

It seems to be an unhappy combination of the GPUs/GPU driver in the 16" MacBook Pros and the game.

The latest Big Sur update did appear to help some users so also make sure your Mac is up to date.

Why did it happen now? Yeah, that's often the case, this thread is now 57 pages of people stating the same thing. We know that San Myshuno is just completely broken and I think Batuu is pretty awful too. Maybe an update caused it to happen? Maybe a settings change? It really doesn't seem clear ☹️

Oh okay, I've had no problems with city living/San Myshuno, but at least now I'm aware of it! I thankfully don't have Batuu.
Hm, yeah it might be an update/patch. Maybe I've changed some settings in the game? Should I try resetting them?

Never hurts to try a new clean Sims 4 folder 🙂

@Bluebellflora Can I do that without losing my saved games/sims?

You could try moving your saves back into the newly created saves folder one at a time, testing the game after adding each one.
