Re: Game Data Incomplete, grey llamas, red and white sims, broken textures

This is my first time playing Sims 4 through the EA app and not Origin. I downloaded the base game and all packs. Some pack content (CAS) shows red-and-white checkered items; some packs don't show any CAS items. Only the base game worlds are available.

Things I have tried:
- Restarting the app
- Uninstalling & reinstalling the app
- Uninstalling & reinstalling the packs
- Restarting the computer
- Repairing the game (before and after pack downloads)
- Only downloading one pack (Enchanted by nature: No CAS or pack world appears in-game, although fairy settings do appear in Game Options)
- Installing the EA app and Sims 4 on the same drive
- Updating the Sims 4

Other information:
- I am running MacOS Monterey version 12.7.5.
- I have the EA app installed on my C: drive and the Sims 4 on an external drive.
- I have no mods or CC.

Please help!

    Im going through the same thing and I have over 8k hours of play time on the game and I've tried everything.

    tiffanimw​ Merged into the master thread, your user data or installation data is corrupted. See the solution in the opening post for further information and help. I am confused though, you say you're running macOS Monterey but then refer to your internal drive as the C: drive which is typically Windows. The internal drive on a Mac is by default named Macintosh HD.
