[Solution?] Sorry, first time posting. I had the same problem and it's been solved. I spoke with an EA person, and was told to completely clear my mac of all caches. The EA website didn't help, as I couldn't do it using the EA app for some reason but I followed this article:

I can now launch Sims 4, I don't know if any crashes etc. will happen but at least it launches.

@661245500959a517 Hi, do you have any mods or cc installed? If you do, it might be worth moving the sims 4 folder to desktop and trying to launch it again. If it does open, it might have to do with the mods. I got frustrated and ended up deleting all of mine, but that's an extreme haha. If it still doesn't work, maybe try going to EA help live chat?
