Please could you click on your saves folder once to select it then go to File > Get Info. Under the General > Where section near the top of the info window please copy and paste the location of your saves folder here. If a Spotlight search finds your saves folder it means it is most likely not in the correct location in Documents > Electronic Arts as the EA folder is hidden from indexing in Spotlight. Your data must be local on your machine in that location for the game to successfully load it.

    I just moved all of those files to under the saves folder. I am a little confused by what you mean by copy and paste the location of my saves folder as there is one already listed?

    Copy and paste the location of the saves folder from the info window into a post here so I can see the file path.

    Thanks. They are in the correct location, is it still not working? Could you post a screenshot of the files within the saves folder so I can see the file names?

    So I just realized I have 2 EA folders after having renamed the original. The newer one created seems to be the one it is pulling from as it does not have anything in the saves folder except the file I copy and pasted into it. The first screenshot is the one with all of my game progress and the second is the most recent one. Is there any way to transfer the saved files to the folder it is pulling from that would allow it to sync with the game?
