Sims 3 64-bit Systems only on Mac

Anyone running into this issue where Sims 3 will not install on Mac?  States it is "Only available on on 64-bit systems".  I have a MacBook Pro i7 that is definitely 64bit.

    Are you trying to use Origin Access? It is only available for Windows, not Macs. For Sims 3 you need to buy the game outright. If you have previously bought the game on disc then you can register your product code in Origin and download it at no additional cost.

    That is a weird message though!

Reset tool did not work.

        What problem do you have and what are you trying to do?

        Origin Access is only available to Windows users. The 64-bit error also comes up if you are trying to download the trial version of Sims 4 as that is also only for Windows users.
