I'm afraid I don't have enough space (22GB is needed) for that. Sims 4 is currently on my hard drive.
I'm currently running macOS Sierra 10.12.6
My macbook is a pro retina 13 inch, early 2015
processor: 2,7 GHz Intel Core i5
memory: 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
graphics: Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB
antivirus: bitdefender
I have tried repairing multiple times, as well as updating. I don't have any CC or mods.
I'm currently working on a Safari related issue with Apple Support, I don't know if that's got anything to do with this sims 4 issue.
22Gb is needed for what? Are you saying that your Sims 4 folder in the Electronic Arts folder is 22Gb?
How much free space is left on your hard drive?

My sims 4 folder in the Electronic arts folder is currently 22GB. I only have 10 GB of space left on my flash drive, storage is somehow taking up 50GB. My external harddrive has 800+ GB left (It's 1TB) which is why sims 4 is on there.

A 22Gb Sims 4 user data folder is not going to perform well, that's crazy high. Do you have a ton of CC/Mods? If so then maybe one or more is not compatible with the latest version of the game. You need to try a clean game. You can move the folder to your external drive to keep it safe and not lose any of your saves etc. If you don't want to move the whole folder then just move the Mods folder over to see if it is CC causing the issue. Just don't save the game if it loads because none of your CC will be loaded.

No, I don't have any mods or CC installed. I never have before. My sims 4 folder is already on the external hard drive, because there isn't simply any space for sims 4 if it's 22 GB. How do I try a clean game?
