So I actually had this problem not too long ago. All I did was disable Origin in-game and my game started working.

I have the same problem. My game was working fine this morning then I closed it to download a new mod and thats when my game broke. I deleted the mod and that didn't fix it. I've reinstalled origin and the only way it worked was moving my sims folder to my desktop but all my cc disappeared when I did that. Is there anyway I can fix that? I play on a MacBook Air 2010.
