Sims 4 is not launching on Mac

Sims 4 is not launching for me. When I'm pressing the play button in the EA app the sims 4 icon is popping up, but it's not launching the game, was waiting hours to launch and nothing happened. Tried to reinstall both the app and sims 4, but still not working. I have several mods, but checked all of them and they are all updated. I never had problem with this before. Had thousand and thousands mods, and now cannot even have a single one as the game is not launching. With Origin everything was so much easier. I also tried to give full access for the ea app and the game too.

If anyone has any solutions I would be thankful as I paid lots of money for the packs .

    I'm having the same issue. The game will open to the main menu, but when I click resume game it stays stuck on the loading screen.
    MacBook Air 2017, currently running Montery. There is no option to update to Sequoia. I have no mods.

    Rosie201023 purplephoenix3 have you both tried the new clean Sims 4 folder as suggested in my previous post? It is the most basic troubleshooting step and one that should always be tested when having problems with the game.
