Sims 4 keeps quitting unexpectedly

Question

I've been having an issue for awhile now where my Sims 4 game keeps "quitting unexpectedly". There doesn't seem to be any particular time or moment when it quits, although I can't usually play longer than 15 minutes without it quitting. The only consistent sign that the game is about to quit is that my mouse changes into the "wheel of death" right before it quits.

So far I have tried: repairing my game through origin, uninstalling and reinstalling Sims and all expansions, getting rid of my Sims 4 Folder and starting afresh, and I have deleted all CC.

I'm not super competent in understanding computers beyond the basics, including deciphering a crash report, so I thought I would post the latest one here to see if anyone can help me with my specific issue.

My mac specifications are:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014)

Processor 2.8 GHz Intel Core i5

Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics Intel Iris 1536 MB

Could you disable Origin in-game and see if that helps. Are your graphics settings maybe a bit too high, have you tried lowering them to see if it makes a difference?
