Trouble Verifying

Hello! I’m very new at this but I was trying to download the sims 4 but it keeps getting stuck during the verifying stage. It takes a very long time and only goes about halfway before stopping. I’ve tried redoing it a few times but it does this every time. Is there a way to stop this from happening? Thank you!
