Unable To Connect to EA servers to Verify (MAC)

Hi, I paid for, downloaded and installed The Sims 4 tonight and once the game was downloaded and origin was operational I clicked "Play", as one does and was greeted by "Unable to connect to EA serv...

My apologies the message says "unable to activate"

It is possible that the activation server is down. This has happened a couple times recently.

    If that doesn't work uninstall the game and re-download and reinstall it. This happened to me once and that was the only thing that fixed it.
