Unable to start sims 4 - data directory created by newer versions of sims 4
yes but what if i want my cc back like i have a million and im just gonna lose them all?
also i am on a macbook air so please help its doing the same thing to me! ☹️(

Moved your post to the Mac forum 🙂
If you move your Sims 4 folder to the desktop all your saves, CC etc. will be safe still in the folder. Move it, update your game, load it up so a new folder is created (just to check it loads ok), quit it then replace the newly created folder with your old one.
