when i try to opeen sims4 its says it's already running

I've been trying to play sims4 for the past 2 days but every time i try to open it it says it's already opened. I've even uninstalled it and installed it and it still won't work. Please help since i ...

    @puzzlezaddict I just find out the porblem i moved the sims 4 file into documents or the other thing i can't remember what it's called; thanks for the help though.

@xXvipgirl8Xx1  You're fine, I just wanted to move your thread to the section where you could get the most effective help.  Please post the specs of your Mac, as described in the last link in my earlier post.  Please also let us know whether you're running the standard version of Sims 4 or the Legacy Edition.
