Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? By opening any save or trying to start a new save
What happens when the bug occurs? When trying to load an existing save, the game gets stuck on an infinite loading screen right after clicking play (before the world map comes up). For a new save, the game gets stuck on the select world screen. "Residential Worlds" is at the top of the screen, but there are no world icons and I can't click on anything.
What do you expect to see? I expect the game to load.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

I know others have been having issues with the game freezing, but I think this is a different issue, since I can't even get into the game to begin with. I have tried restarting the game and restarting my computer but neither have helped.
