📢 Post-Patch Bug Report (July 1st, 2025 – Sims 4 v1.116)
I wanted to compile and report the issues I’ve personally encountered following the July 1st, 2025 patch (v1.116). This patch introduced some great features, but it unfortunately caused several significant problems that are breaking core gameplay.
- Whiteboard is completely missing from Build/Buy and previously placed versions have disappeared.
- I cannot drag items to trash or sink—drag-to-clean interaction appears broken across the board.
- Teen Sims are not getting school tasks when attending school, especially in households with multiple teens.
- Sims' bladder needs do not rise after using toilets placed outside their home lot (specifically vet clinic).
- Cooking Together interaction is broken—initiating the action causes Sims to reset or do nothing.
- Sims are all misclassified as “pregnant” during the Nature’s Calling event, preventing hot tub interactions.
- Flowers float mid-air when using the Flower Arranging station (this bug has persisted since the Life and Death patch).
- Game crashes in Build/Buy mode, often when placing entire lots or accessing large community builds.
🙏 Please let us know if a hotfix is in progress or if there’s anything we can do to help escalate these issues. The patch introduced exciting features, but many players are currently unable to enjoy them due to the number of regressions and instability.
