All saved games completely gone after update

I literally just updated my game because I had no other choice, and when I finally load into my game, all my saved games are completely gone. It has saved games that I've never played before. Im so upset because I worked so hard to build my sims family, relationships etc. I need my account to be recovered asap. What's crazy is after I updated the gam it had all pop ups of the packs like I just got the game. I ned this fixed asap. I did not invest this much money and time into the game to experience something like. It's like after every major update, things just get worse and worse. Mods are gone and everything.
