Blackscreen In game play /Cursor Lag

Hello, I have recently updated my game. I always remove my mods when I update. so there is nothing in my game right now. When I started my game I got a popup about graphics or something but i didn't get to examine it because I accidently clicked out. (don't know if the two are related buttt..) Now once my game loads into game play the screen is black for like 15 seconds and just lags.... I repaired the game, reinstalled and restarted my laptop still same problem. Picture below
