Can't delete objects from Sims 4 gallery

Hey. I built a house yesterday and i uploaded it so i can continue the next day. When i wanted to delete the old object it didnt remove it. I kept doing that and uploading a few more version because i kept building. Now i have 3 houses i cant delete. Neither i cant delete the old sims i made back in 2014.

  • Hi @Kumpelbubble

what error are you getting when you're trying to bulldoze the lots ? Can you delete any of the rooms manually ?

Would you mind starting over in a new save game ?

  • I am also having this problem. I recently returned and decided to remove all of my old households from the gallery and I couldn't remove three of them. I looked up the problem, tried all the suggestions and now I have four households I can't remove. There are no errors. They just won't actually delete from the gallery. They will appear to be removed but when I refresh the page they are still there. I really don't want them there anymore, so it's quite frustrating. Two of the households are from January 2015, one is from January 2017 and now there's one from today that is a copy of the one from 2017.

Are they real, can you enter them in the building mode? Are they only on the map of the world?
When after entering such a "Gallery lot" you change the name and liquidate this house and then you will put there for example four walls covered with a roof, after saving the game and re-start what there will be on this lot?

The world map does not change when you save a game from a family level or from a construction site. When you enter the City Management and from this level you will save the game - the map will change,

  • It is not an error. When i click *delete* the lot disappears, but when i click on another page for example *messages* and then i go back to my catalog all of the deleted objects are there again. It has been like that for days and I have already tried a couple of advice from the internet but nothing worked.

I don't understand you. You can not eliminate them in the game or you can not get them out of your library?
If this is the second case, then the solution is simple. Upload to Gallery all you need to keep and delete the Tray folder from the game folder. When you turn on the game, a new empty Tray folder will be created. All what you will need you can download from your catalog of uploaded works to the Gallery
  • Sorry about this late reply, holiday stuff.
Anyway, the problem is not with the library in the game, it is with the items uploaded to the community gallery. There are four households that will not stay deleted, they just reappear in my catalog when I refresh or go back to it.

I don't know if a reset of your Sims 4 will work to help delete items from the gallery, but it might be worth testing.

You can reset your user folder by renaming it or moving it to the desktop and playing the game so it makes a new Sims 4 folder. Here's a how-to:

    Sims 4 Factory Reset -

Rename your Sims 4 folder to Sims 4_Backup. The game will create a new folder next time you play. - Renaming it or moving it to the desktop will help you have a backup and keep your Sims 4 files safe.

Repair the Sims 4 game. In Origin > Game Library - right-click on Sims 4 and select Repair. - To make sure the install files and such are in working order.

Try launching the game and check to see if your gallery items have been deleted. If so, you can start putting files back. (list of files and folders below).

    - Options.ini (User game settings)
    - Tray Folder (Sims/Houses/Commercial lots and rooms)
    - Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    - Rest of the save games, if any.
(leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave. It is not used anymore.)
    - Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, and makeup
    - Mods (Put these back one by one to make sure they all still work)

If you move or rename the Sims 4 folder, the game will no longer be able to find it. When you go to play the game it will create a new folder.
