Can't get past a 3rd day

ShortBus333 Please test a new save with your Mods folder removed, to see if that's the issue. Don't use sims or a house from the Gallery—create a new sim (no need to spend much time in CAS, since this is just a test), and move them in to a default EA-made lot.
If this works fine, you can start testing your mods and cc, or your favorite sims or Gallery builds, a little at a time, to see where the problem is.
