cc installed but not placed on lot

i'm not sure if i'm doing something incorrectly but i downloaded a cc lot and double checked that cc used is installed but when i place the lot it gives me a pop-up saying multiple items were replaced and removed. i'm sure i have the cc all installed because i'm able to locate them in build mode but i'm having to manually place them down. i'm not sure if this is due to a bug or something i'm doing wrong.
