Certain in-game options not avalible
Ive been having a repeated issue, and I have googled and used every solution that I can find, but have no luck. The main issue is specific character options not showing up. The ones I have noticed specifically are not being able to tutor (yes, the sim is an adult and a current student and has several max level skills), not being able to buy some items from the computer or specific objects (plant seeds from planter box and skill books from bookshelf), and not being able to get every tarot card because I cannot interact with the baleful bog. Some options become avalaible, like I could randomly buy only 1 book plus homework books, that werent before. Or, for example, a sim becomes more skilled in vampire knowledge so they can buy those books, but not any other. I can buy garlic seeds, but not the normal basic seeds that you normally can, or the seeds from cottage living. The items still exists, and I can get them in other ways (i.e. buying a room of all skill books from the gallery because I had no other way to get them, or buy some of the cottage living related seeds or items from the market stalls, or harvesting random flowers/plants in the are). The game is not complete this way, and I hate playing when basic game mechanics dont work. I also noticed that as a teen, my sim would randomly reset during classes at some point during my save. I have tried these interactions on other saves, and so far they all seem to have this issue. I did not have this issue in the past. No, I have no mods (I forgot I had them, and deleted them but the same thing kept happening). I noticed the issue a couple weeks ago when I bought the Life & Death expansion pack, but Im not sure if it was releated. Yes, it is fully updated and I use steam as the manager. I have several expansion packs and other DLCs bought directly through steam, or in game, from EA.
Solutions I have tried:
Steam verifying game files, unchecking and checking all DLCs, deleting local cache and options from files on computer. I have tried everything I could possibly find besides doing a factory reset.
DLCs:
Life & Death, Get to Work, High School Years, Cottage Living, Discover University, Cats & Dogs, and City Living expansion packs; Werewolf, Realm of Magic, Vampires, and Outdoor Retreat game packs; Crystal Creations, Romatic Garden, Cool Kitchen, and Home Chef Hustle stuff packs; First Fits, Grundge Revival, Goth Galore, and Coach RePurpose Capsule kits
