Getting divorced and don't have access to old Steam account
I've been trying to find a solution to my problem but have hit dead ends everywhere. My ex and I shared a Steam account which was linked to this EA account. I basically just played Sims 4 and the rest of the games belonged to my ex. In the grand scheme of things it isn't a big deal, but I had huge saves and can't afford to repurchase all the packs I had (my ex stole all of our joint savings when we separated and I don't know if I'll be able to get them back). I was able to set up family sharing with the old Steam account but apparently DLC aren't included in that so I can't just transfer my saves to the new Steam account I made. I've spent hours and hours trying to figure out if there's any option that will work and haven't found anything. Does anyone know what I could do? I'm so incredibly frustrated at how much money my partner cheating on me has cost me and it just seems to keep happening.Steam no longer runs on my computer
I've bought expansion packs on Steam over the years but unfortunately Steam is no longer supported on my computer system. I've lost access to all my packs on Steam and want to know if there's a way I can install or transfer them to my EA account/EA app. As far as I'm aware this isn't possible but I don't know if anyone has had a similar problem and knows a way around it. I’m trying to locate the expansion packs I purchased for The Sims 4. I recently logged into three different EA accounts where I have the base game installed (since it's free), but none of them show the expansions I paid for. I believe the packs might be linked to a different EA account, possibly under a different email. Could you please help me identify which EA account owns the expansion packs? I have recently run into a problem where my game will say "missing resources" and act as id I have broken cc for IN GAME packs like Knifty Knitting and Moschino Stuff. I have tried deleting all mods and cc to see if that was the issue and it wasn't, I also have the game updated to the latest version. How do I fix this issue?!!!!
SIMS 4 ADD-ON ISSUES
I am hoping someone can help me PLEASE!!!!!! I have been playing the sims 4 on my pc laptop with some of my add-ons. I decided to purchase an external hard drive for more storage to be able to play the base game and all of my add- ons at the same time. I have the game installed and the EA APP states all is downloaded but when I lauch the game with or without my external hard drive it does not show up in my game play. I have uninstalled/re-installed/ cleared EA APP Cache but its not working . All of my gameplay has been erased and only 3 worlds appear within the game. I need help I havent been able to play my game for 3 day. I have installed and downloaded each add-on Ive even attempted to just download the base game then manually select specific game packs yet they still do not load when game is launched PLEASE PLEASE HELP s
Sims 4 won't open
I recently got a new computer. I've been trying to open the sims for a few hours. Every time I open it, all I get is a white screen. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. It's downloaded all of my packs, except for the kids room stuff pack. When it tries to download that one it says that I don't own that pack or the game (which I do). I looked up what to do and got told to go to app recovery and restart my cashe. That didn't work. I've spent so many hours on this game and never had issues. I'd be really heartbroken to lose it. Please tell me someone knows how to help. Also I don't have any mods or cc installed, so it's not tied to that."Welcome to (pack)" pop-ups reappearing every time I open the game.
Hi, I have a reoccurring issue that has been happening for 2+ years. Every time I open the sims4, I get a welcome to pack notification for every single pack I have. I have posted about it before on here and everyone says to delete the "ReticulatedSplinesView" file, but that didn't work for me. Before I had deleted this file I only got popups for a few packs. Now I get popups for every single pack I own. I have deleted this file multiple times in the span of 2 years and it has only made it worse. Someone PLEASE help me. I will insert a picture of what it looks like when I open the game. I am on a Lenovo laptop on windows most recent update if that helps. When I open the game, it does this but for every single pack I have.
