The Sims 4 won’t launch — it keeps showing “Failed to launch” every time I try to open it, both from the EA App and from Epic Games Launcher.
What I’ve tried so far:
Repaired the game in the EA App
Repaired the EA App itself
Reinstalled both EA App and The Sims 4
Cleared cache files
Restarted my PC multiple times
Despite all this, the same error persists. The EA App opens normally, but when I click Play, it immediately shows the “Failed to launch” message.
System info:
Windows 10, Epic version of The Sims 4 linked to EA.
Can someone from EA please advise how to fix this or if there’s a known issue with the Epic/EA connection?
