silverlacie To be clear, you've done everything listed in the first post of this thread? And are you getting the "failed to launch game" error, or this one?

The suggested workarounds have a lot of overlap, but please go over the list there too to make sure you've covered everything.
The Sims 4 errors in your dxdiag are most often related to an unstable overclock, so if you've overclocked any component of your PC, revert to stock settings and try again. If that's not the issue, the next-most-common cause is a bad mod or custom content item, and after that, it's unclear, but a clean uninstall and reinstall of the game can help. This is more thorough than the normal uninstall process and is covered here:

So I actually get both errors, it's really inconsistent. Sometimes when I add or remove mods the game starts, crashes and I get the failed to launch error. Sometimes it refuses to start and gives me the popup error about game data being missing or damaged. When I take CC out of my mods folder it launches but when I add back a little bit of CC that is confirmed to be working my creators, it will do one of either of those crashes/fails. I also am unsure of how to check for an overclock. Thanks!
