EA App (PC) won't do anything
UPDATE
I was able to finally figure out a workaround. First, I removed everything that you normally remove from my Sims 4 folder in Documents like I had received a last exception or downloaded a new mod. I then right-clicked on the Sims 4 desktop icon & clicked on Open File Location. Inside the new window, I found the TS4_DX9_x64.exe & ran that as administrator. This got the EA App to pop up from being minimized & I saw the update had started to download, but it was at 0%. I closed everything on my PC, did another reboot, & when my PC was back up I ran the EA App as administrator again & saw the update was still downloading at 0%. I went to the Sims 4 page on the app & clicked the updating button to view the percentage bar & I saw the pause & cancel button. I clicked pause, waited a few seconds & clicked resume, seeing the data that was being downloaded slowly going up. It finally updated fully, I moved all of my folders I had on my desktop back in the Sims 4 folder & was able to launch the game with no issues.
