game closes on startup
hey so whenever I try to open the sims either by desktop or by ea app it just crashes on the startup screen and opens ea app again as if i closed it myself. all i can see is the maxis/ea blue screen ...

simmer2mew If you still want to troubleshoot, try switching to running Sims 4 in DirectX 11 mode. Open the EA App, click Sims 4 > Manage > View properties, and add -dx11 to the command line box.
If that doesn't help either, try the newest driver Intel offers for your processor:
You don't have to use DDU since this driver is newer than what you currently have installed. Just run it as an admin (right-click the download and select "Run as administrator"), then restart your computer after it finishes installing and before you try to play.
