Game crashing on start up

Hi!! So I'm trying to launch my game but as the plumbob is spinning to go to the title screen, my game crashes. If it had happened after I downloaded any new mods I would understand, however I haven't downloaded any since I last played. I saw someone say something about dragging the sims 4 folder out of the Electronic Arts folder, but it is telling me that it is open in another location (it is not). I tried restarting my laptop, but it still tells me the same thing.
