Game doesn't launch

You aren't alone the EXACT same thing is happening to me as we speak. Feels like I tried everything. 

Syrevna​  Do you have Smart App Control enabled on your computer?  Another user said they had to disable it to get the game to run.  If you don't want to do so, you could wait a day or two—Microsoft has tended to fix issues with this feature relatively quickly.

If you don't have Smart App Control enabled, or disabling it doesn't help, try creating a new admin Windows account and playing there.  Make it local, as in, not linked to your Microsoft account or any email address.  (Keep saying you don't have that info until you get some security questions instead.)  You'll be able to at least try to launch Sims 4 without reinstalling anything.

Ive just had the same problem. I just keep getting an unknown error occurred message and thats it. I cant even instal sims 

Syrevna​  Okay this will sound stupid but (if you even have it linked of course) have you tried launching the game using Epic Games Launcher? Because I had basically the same problem and suddenly I thought I would try to launch the game with Epic as my last resort (because a few years ago I got 2 free Sims packs from there and it linked to my account) and it worked and then it started launching from the EA App as usual.

the Reliability Monitor doesn't show any errors at all (waited for about 2-3 hours)

Syrevna​  Thanks for the dxdiag, which shows your computer's graphics driver is crashing in a few different ways.  So please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the driver, as described here:

If that doesn't help, once you've tried to launch the game again, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor.  Click Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day.  Today is on the right.

Look for an error that happened at exactly the most recent time you tried to open Sims 4.  If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here.  If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.

Ter590​  Open Windows Defender's settings and unblock the game or the component that's been blocked.  Check Controlled Folder Access settings too.
