I recently bought the sims 25th birthday bundle which included the sims 4 and kits. I bought it off steam and linked it to my ea account since I bought my sims 4 expansion packs there. But when I try to open the game from steam or the EA app it says its unavailable on EA and will not launch. It says to uninstall the steam version but will I still get my kits that I bought from steam?
MehoyMinoy8 Are your Steam and EA accounts properly linked, and to each other? To check, try to sign into any EA website (this one is fine) using your Steam credentials. If you land in the correct EA account, great; if anything else happens, let me know.
Aside from that, try running the EA App as an admin: right-click the desktop shortcut and select "Run as administrator." Make sure the App is fully loaded (and you've signed into the correct account) before trying to launch Sims 4.
And to answer your question, no, the content you own in Steam won't be available with an EA App install.
