Game will not load; stuck on launching game from EA App

This has been happening for a couple weeks but I haven't had time to fix it till now. I have;

  • Cleared caches
  • Cleared save file, cleared all mods, cleared the Sim folder from documents
  • Repaired
  • Ended all EA services
  • Uninstalled Sims
  • Uninstalled EA app completely and reinstalled
  • Restarted my computer countless times
  • Turned off the AV 

How can I get my game back? It feels crazy that I have done all of this and no error message just endlessly stuck on launching game

    I am having the same exact issue. I cant play my game at all and the trick everyone is listing to remove the saves folder has done nothing.

    Snoozenlose​ ambee2486​  What exactly do you see when you try to play?  Stuck starting to launch is different than stuck on the first loading screen, for example.

    Please also provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
