f1e2ecfab0a60d83 A proper gaming laptop should run Sims 4 fine even if you add a giant pile of custom content. An Nvidia RTX 3050 is capable of running the game, all current packs included, on ultra graphics settings, with some room to spare, although if you add a lot of high poly cc and maybe ReShade or GShade, you might need to turn down the settings a little. An RTX 4050 should still manage ultra settings even with that content, as should anything above that.
I would avoid the somewhat slower RTX 2050, which is below a GTX 1650 in performance at a 1920x1080 resolution in most cases. It's also not much cheaper than a 3050.
The graphics card is the most important detail here, and also the limiting factor, so you don't need to worry much about the other hardware. Laptop manufacturers know that most users are paying for graphics performance and want to get the most out of their GPU, so the configurations include other components that will more than keep up with the card.
The one other detail that may matter, especially down the road, is getting 16 GB memory. While 8 GB is enough for Sims 4, especially when the system has a dedicated graphics card with its own video memory, it's nice to have more and will become increasingly important as time goes on, especially for multitasking or running other apps that may chew through RAM faster than the game.

To be clear, you don't need the RTX 4060 in the last laptop at all; I included it so you could see what's available. Pick the price or performance you want and go from there.
This one only has 8 GB RAM, but if you're willing to add more, another 8 GB might only run you £30-40, and it's easy to do on this model laptop. And you'd get a GPU upgrade out of it over the RTX 3050. This one has a better screen than the £700 HP Victus with the 4050 above, so if it had 16 GB memory, it would be the better option. But the HP screen is fine too, just not as pretty.
