@cdmesker1 What happens when you click Play in Origin? What antivirus program do you use?
Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

It just flashes and comes right back to same screen to click play. I use PC Matic. The game has played fine for a year until yesterday. I've done all updates for game and PC, used the repair button under settings in Origin, and rebooted several times.
@cdmesker1 I'm not familiar with PC Matic, but a number of antivirus programs are currently blocking Sims 4, even those that allowed it through by default as recently as a couple months ago. So please start by setting exceptions for Origin.exe and TS4_x64.exe. If that doesn't help, you'll need to go through the software's settings looking for other "features" you can disable temporarily; try anything you can change, and change it back if it doesn't make a difference.
If none of that helps, or if you want a quick answer, you can try disabling PC Matic entirely, at least long enough to test. As long as you don't open anything aside from Origin and Sims 4, your computer should be safe.
If that doesn't make a difference either, I would like to see a dxdiag.
Here is the attached DxDiag
@cdmesker1 Your dxdiag lists a number of errors related to the driver for your graphics chip. The problem could still be PC Matic, but it's a a good idea to install a new driver regardless. You can get the newest one here:

Restart after installing the driver and before trying to play.
PC Matic is the issue. I just have to figure out how to give the permission to run the game!
It says my drivers are all up to date. I will now work on the PC Matic to permit the game.
