Mine also keeps crashing. Once I downloaded the latest update, it started crashing as soon as I try to launch it. I've repaired the game, restarted my computer, and tried playing offline. It crashes every time.

Mine is doing this too. It loads a white screen, and then crashes and goes back to the EA app. I hope that this can be fixed soon. I've done everything I can think of.
Capriccioing KMcK09 IsaPayran cippychungus12 Please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs, if you can get that far.
If that doesn't help, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Vandamm593 The Sims 4 errors in your dxdiag point to a component of Windows that's unlikely to be corrupt, given that your computer works at all. Still, please run a couple of basic checks of your Windows system files:
- Hit Windows key-X
- Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator),” whichever option is offered
- Inside the window that appears, copy and paste “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes, and enter
- The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here
- After it reaches 100%, hit Windows key-X again
- Again, choose “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator)”
- Inside the window, copy and paste “sfc /scannow” without quotes, and enter
- Post the message you receive here
Restart your computer, hit Windows key-i, select Update & Security, and click the box to check for updates. If any install, restart again afterwards. Please also disable Game Mode and Game Bar, both under Windows Settings > Gaming.
If that doesn't help, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just see whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.
oliviamay200 Your dxdiag shows that Sims 4 is crashing because the Intel graphics driver is crashing. But the game shouldn't be using the integrated graphics chip at all. Are you playing with the laptop plugged in and charging, or running on battery? It might default to the iGPU on battery, and you'd get worse performance anyway, so please plug in the laptop before trying to play.
Either way, please also update the Nvidia graphics driver. You can get the newest version here:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/
Select GeForce, RTX 30 series (notebooks), 3050 ti, Windows 10, and download the Game Ready Driver. Run it as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Choose the Custom (not Express) install method, and check the box to perform a clean install. Restart afterwards and before trying to play.
If all that doesn't help, tell the game to use the Nvidia GPU. Right-click the desktop and select the Nvidia Control Panel, choose Manage 3D Settings > Program settings, find ts4_x64 on the list, and select the high-performance Nvidia option.

First off thank you so much for responding!
This has been pushing to the verge of tears for the past three weeks!First, I disabled Game Mode and Game Bar.
Then, I did the resorehealth prompt and the scannow prompt.
After I did the scannow the message I got was
"Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."
Next, I restarted my computer, checked for updates (didn't have any) and restarted again.
Lastly, I moved the Sims 4 folder like mentioned in you post. I launched the game, and it loaded in! It also spawned a new folder. Hearing that into music almost made me shed a tear! And it did save!
I did notice a spicy mod I added at one point. I wonder if that could be the issue. Broken cc?
It's not in the mod folder but in the game file as a folder its-self. - da7824092 months agoSeasoned Newcomer
I found the problem, it's completely related to the family because when I cleaned my mods and entered with the same family, I got the same error again. Then, I restored my mods and created a new family, and there was no issue. You can fix it this way.
