i cant log in as appartently im logged in somewhere else
I've been playing on sims4 for a while now and had to take a break from the game and origin when I came back today I was showed the credentials expired screen so I changed my password and moved on. then my screen showed what it normally does but without much color and the welcoming message up top. I thought nothing of it and clicked on sims to play. it told me the file was corrupted and I had to either repair it or reinstall the game via Origin. I try to reinstall from origin but I couldn't so I deleted the game off my device and took the disc out. I waited for 5 then put the disc back in so I could reinstall. it made me log in again and I got a message saying I was logged in somewhere else. the only other place I could remember logging in to was the other laptop so I went on there to log out and remove origin. I do this and come back. it still says the same. is there a way to find out other devices I'm logged into? or to restart the whole thing origin and all completely?
@gothickitten999 Is your computer a pc or mac? Do you get a message if you want to continue login? This should bump the other device off. You could try to uninstall Origin as it may be out of date. Google Origin (any search engine will do) and download the Origin installer. Install and try to login. Origin is like Steam in that you are using client software and your information is stored on the server. If you have a mac you do not need Origin to play. If you continue to have issues you can contact EA customer service - link - customer service. Origin accounts can not be accessed in these forums and you will need EA to see if they can solve the issue.
