i could change the language to english but now i can't?

i bought the 25 anniversary bundle and did a refund because of the infuriating technical issues. after i bought it i realized i could change the language of sims 4 to english via ea app, i thought it came with an update or something. after i returned the bundle sims 4 won't run because i need to choose a language and the only availabe ones are polish, russian and czech, which is how it was before buying the 25 anniversary stuff. did they accidentally give me acces to switch sims 4 language to english? because you can install sims 1 and 2 in any language?

    The languages available are dependent on what region you've purchased your copy of the game from.

    If you're looking to get different language options, you can try reaching out to the live support team to see if they can change the region version you currently have on your account. You can contact live support through the help site here to have them look into those options with you.
