I'm crying, it's so infuriating
CRASHES CRASHES CRASHES
All the steps I have done:
- Uninstalled the game and EA app fully.
- Also manually removed the files.
- Repaired 6/7 times (yes, the meme).
- Set up specific settings with NVIDIA.
- Set up specific settings in my general gaming settings.
- Tested dx9 settings.
- Tested dx11 settings.
- Ran on laptop mode.
- Ran on lowest mode possible.
- Ensured everything on my end is updated.
- Got rid of my old save file (beloved and worked on for years).
- Got rid of old sims characters.
- No mods or CC anymore (since I uninstalled and reinstalled).
There is literally nothing else I can do. It crashes once in the dark blue screen, so about 10-15 seconds in from loading, with the following pop-up from EA. EVERY TIME for the past week.
"An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later."
How much later? A day? A week? A month?!
EA - I'm convinced you're breaking the Consumer Goods Act law.
