I'm crying, it's so infuriating

CRASHES CRASHES CRASHES

All the steps I have done:

  • Uninstalled the game and EA app fully.
  • Also manually removed the files.
  • Repaired 6/7 times (yes, the meme).
  • Set up specific settings with NVIDIA.
  • Set up specific settings in my general gaming settings.
  • Tested  dx9 settings.
  • Tested dx11 settings.
  • Ran on laptop mode.
  • Ran on lowest mode possible.
  • Ensured everything on my end is updated.
  • Got rid of my old save file (beloved and worked on for years).
  • Got rid of old sims characters.
  • No mods or CC anymore (since I uninstalled and reinstalled).

There is literally nothing else I can do. It crashes once in the dark blue screen, so about 10-15 seconds in from loading, with the following pop-up from EA. EVERY TIME for the past week.

"An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later."

How much later? A day? A week? A month?!

 

EA - I'm convinced you're breaking the Consumer Goods Act law.
