Island Living download crash

Hi everyone,

I have been using a 3TB external hard drive for my game for about 6 months and have no issues until now. 

This morning my game crashed and when I tried to relaunch it all I got was a blank screen eveytime. I tried clearing the cache on both the game and Ea App, uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app. Nothing. 

I decided to uninstall and reinstall the game. Everything was downloading fine until Island Living. It stopped at 22% and would not continue. Then it would say the the drive doesn't exist all of a sudden, see photos. 

I was able to download all other expansion game, and stuff packs and the game will now play with those but it will not allow me to redownload the Island Living pack past 22%. 

Help!

    @KayliH  If you use a third-party antivirus, please disable it, temporarily of course, and repair Sims 4 (under Manage), then try again to download Island Living.

    If this doesn't help, please let me know whether there is any other data on this drive you don't want to lose.  The simplest approach might be formatting the drive, but that means erasing all its data, and there are workarounds if you'd rather not do this.

    If this doesn't help, please let me know whether there is any other data on this drive you don't want to lose.  The simplest approach might be formatting the drive, but that means erasing all its data, and there are workarounds if you'd rather not do this.
