Selda27 Overwolf is the company that runs CurseForge, and you don't need its updater running all the time—you can manually update when you like. I'm not sure what the other is, but if you're curious, let it run and check the Task Manager's Details section. That should give you some information, and if it's not enough, right-click and Show File Location (or similar) to see what folder it's inside.
You don't need to play like this going forward. You can instead selectively reenable services until you find the problem, or use the 50/50 method if you prefer. (Enable half of them, and if those are fine, enable half of the rest. If you then see an issue, disable half those you just enabled, and so on.)
You can also try going back online, but as a separate test; I'd suggest doing it while still using the clean boot. If online is fine, great, that's not the issue. If your game runs badly again, disable Online Social Access, under Options > Game Options > Other, and test again. This would cut you off from the Gallery and future login events, but you can selectively reenable the setting when you have to and otherwise play without this connection.

I have the same issue. We spend so much money on this game and they can’t even provide a normal running game… 😤 I will soon ask for a refund and delete this game.. because this is not okay.

I have been playing Sims 4 for two months. Starting yesterday, the game freezes about 5 minutes into playing, but the background music continues. I have already cleared the EA folder and tried using a clean game folder, but the problem remains the same (so mods or saves are not the issue).
I moved the sims 4 folder from documents>Electronic Arts to my desktop & relaunched the game, but still had the same issue. I wasn't able to even click "new game" because the screen froze.
Here is a dxdiag.
Thank you for your reply!!

This has happened to me also. I've played in three different saves and all have the same issue of extreme lag (having to wait 2 seconds after clicking for something to appear on screen, the clock/time in UI stops while the game keeps playing, my sims literally just standing around, not being able to move or delete anything in build mode, etc.). I at first thought it was my MCCC, maybe it was outdated; it wasn't but I deleted and re-downloaded it anyway. The issues were still the same. Then I thought it was my internet connection, so I literally restarted my WiFi router and computer. The issues were still the same. I've gone through my entire computer and it's files, none of my mods are outdated, same with my cc. But, my game is quite honestly unplayable. I've had slight lag before, and was still able to play the game, but this is to a whole other level of delay. Genuinely so frustrating.

This is my dxdiag, also.
minkymomo29 Thanks for the dxdiag. The Sims 4 crashes could be related to your computer's graphics driver, and the other errors are definitely crashes of the driver, so please clean-uninstall and reinstall it. Here's how:
You can get a fresh copy of the last Nvidia driver for your graphics card here:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/
Select GeForce, GTX, GTX 660, Windows 11, and download the Security Update driver from July.
If this doesn't help, please post a new dxdiag.
lindyespringer Please test with no mods or custom content, as in, move the Mods folder to the desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. You don't need to save your progress.
If that doesn't help, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor. Click Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
Look for an error that happened while you were playing Sims 4 the most recent time (with no mods). If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here. If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.

is that what you need?
Nyasmin123456 A dxdiag is helpful, sure, but what issue are you seeing in-game? Your dxdiag doesn't list any Sims 4 errors, and I don't see anything obviously wrong, so please let me know what problem I should be trying to solve.

I can't even play for 10 minutes , it keeps lagging and freezing and I check my mods it doesn't seem there's anything wrong
