I have had sims 4 for a while now. I used to have multiple mods which never affected the gameplay. I have recently disabled all of my mods and the game was working fine. However the last 3-4 days, it...
footballnuts10 Please remove your entire Mods folder and test again. You don't need to save your progress without your mods present.
If this doesn't help, please test a new save for comparison's sake. If the new save is affected too, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
If the new save is fine, test your main save but with your sims' inventories completely emptied, and test the save with your sims moved to a different, default EA-made house or an empty lot. (Don't place a lot from the Gallery on top of it.) You don't have to save your progress here either. The idea is to try to isolate the source of the problem, again only if the new save runs fine.
