Mods folder problem

When downloading a mod and then moving it to the mods file in the sims 4 file, it disappears instantly. I looked at my downloads on my computer on google to see where the files are located, it shows that it has been removed. I am not sure if it's a glitch due to the new update or it's my pc but I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem?.

  • Unknown_Scorpion  Please right-click the Mods folder where you're trying to add mods and select Properties > General.  List the Location you see, the entire path.  You can write [username] instead of your actual username if you want, but leave the rest intact.

Please also let me know whether OneDrive is running on your computer, even if you never use it, and whether you're using some other syncing software.

Finally, open a File Explorer window, click This PC in the left panel, and list the free and total storage you see for each drive listed there.

  • I also think I might've had two of the mods folders up thinking it was the normal mod folder and not the backup but I'm not sure why it showed up as removed on my downloads on google?

  • Unknown_Scorpion  That's why I asked the questions I did, to try to figure out why this was happening.  If you're still curious, please let me know the answers, and we'll go from there.
