First the issue with my task bar it keeps going up and down. Now my game is unplayable because the dance glitch and my sims are stuck like that or stalled until I reset my sims while time progresses . I’m not sure what else to do I have repaired my game took out mods. I just want to play my game for one day with out issue. Help?
Lovelynbows Please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.
If you get a crash or any type of performance issue, please let me know what you see. In that case, please also provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Please also be more specific about the task bar going up and down. I can't picture what you mean.
It works! it looks like everything is working I wonder if my saves are corrupted from a mod or something. I try to update as much as I can. But no stalling and or dancing and the bar that shows the sims actions is acting right.
Lovelynbows You can test your saves in the new user folder if you want. Try testing different lots/worlds and households to see whether the problem is contained or affects the entire save. For your main sims, it's worth moving them to a different lot, and emptying out their inventories, as separate tests.
