My Sim Can't Cook/Bake

Do you have the option to use “fresh ingredients” and 
“prepped ingredients” ( if you have the HCHS pack) ? Try unchecking them if you do and see if that helps.

Having the same issue but receipes pop up for me. My sim can't seem to access the fridge or anything. I have only seen one other person with the issue so far. Im working with basically a new game and computer. Only mod I had was MCCC, I deleted the cache. Nothing seems to be working for me.

HelloTheBananaKing19​  When the menu comes up, are you unable to select anything? Or when you click on the fridge, is there no interaction? Is this happening with sims in other households also? If it is just the one household, try having them move to another home and test to see if the issue remains.

rosemow​ The menu comes up and im able to select whats available. My sim just waves her hands up and says she can't reach the object even though theres nothing obstructing it. I just got a new laptop and dont have any other sims or households on here. I can try moving the household. I am able to grill food.

rosemow​ Theres about 5 counters completely cleared with nothing on them. I just moved lots and its still happening. She doesnt even walk to the fridge, she automatically says she cant access it. I dont know what else to do thats why I was hoping its a bug and im not the only one experiencing it.

I am sorry that you are having this issue.
Is it happening with other households also? Try testing to see if they are having the same issue with cooking.
If they are, then try resetting your sims 4 folder, and testing in a new save game without putting back any of your data in the sims 4 folder and see if the issue remains.

rosemow​ Thank you for all your help. I just deleted the entire save because i had just started it and had no other households. It seems to be working fine now so hopefully it stays that way.
