deargrasiella There would be a Config file, but not a folder, and there should be a ConfigOverride folder even if it's empty.
What game version do you see in the lower-right corner of the Main Menu? Please list it. Please also post a new dxdiag, and make sure you've launched the game at least once after yesterday's update.
Hi! You've been the best at offering solutions. I ended up factory resetting my computer yesterday, and now The Sims 4 works just fine. Not sure what the underlying issue was before, but I'm happy it works now. Wishing you the best xx
