New Update Problems

I haven't played TS4 in months and wanted to pick it back up. I updated the game to the new patch (June update). I updated my mods as well after the game was done updating. Once in game, I could not save my long time file. I kept getting error 22. Okay, so I then deleted the save entirely. Tried to make a new sim and I am stuck on the CAS screen. I can click on the "check mark" to move forward but, I am not moved to the world selection screen. I don't have any viruses, I only play with like 3 mods (MCCC, UI cheats, and RPO mod). I uninstalled the game and I STILL have the CAS issue. Anyone else in the same boat??? How can I fix this? I just want to play the game...
