No saves or mods after reinstall

Hi all, please help! 

I've reinstalled my Sims game to my D drive and the filepath is different and I have no idea where to put the saves or mods

previous file path was the standard: This PC > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files > Electronic Arts  > Sims 4  -and then the mods and saves folder were there automatically.

I reinstalled the game to the D drive and the internal folders looked completely different. The game runs just fine, but I don't see that it placed a mods or saves folder.

The new filepath is (D:) > Games > The Sims 4 - but this drive is not where the program files are and I have no idea if the game is launching from EA app (which is installed on C) or from the D drive. I have no idea where to put the mods and saves folders.

What do I do?!?! Eternal gratitude to the one who helps me out of the mess I made. LOL
