old mods keep appearing

(disclaimer: english is not my first language. if there is any spelling, grammar mistake, or any weird sentence, i'm sorry.)

i'm on windows, and i have deleted the sims a few months ago, along with all the mods. i delete all the mods, the copies, everything. yesterday i just redownloaded the sims (from ea app) but they keep on appearing, even after i download new mods and place them in new folder. but somehow the one that shows up in the game is my old mods, i didn't see the new one at all. i've tried redownloaded my games a lot of times, yet they keep appearing. any help, please?
