Ongoing Glitches in Sims 4 – Missing Lots, Build Mode Freezes, and Game Crashes

Dear EA Support Team,

I’m writing to report some serious issues I’ve been experiencing with The Sims 4 on PC. I’ve encountered persistent glitches that are significantly affecting gameplay and preventing me from enjoying the game as intended.

The main problems are as follows:

• Deleted Lots: Most of the lots in my game have inexplicably disappeared. When I enter the world view, many lots show up as blank or missing.
• Build Mode Issues: When I attempt to place or replace a lot, the game either freezes in build mode or becomes completely unresponsive.
• Crashes: In many cases, attempting to enter build mode or load a household result in the game crashing to desktop.
• Access to Content: These issues are preventing me from accessing and playing in many of the neighborhoods I’ve paid for through official packs.

I’ve invested a significant amount in The Sims 4, having purchased every single expansion, game, and stuff pack—well over $800 in total. Given that level of investment, it’s incredibly frustrating to be unable to build homes or play in key areas of the game.

I’ve attempted basic troubleshooting steps such as:

• Removing mods/CC
• Repairing the game through the EA App
• Clearing the cache
• Testing in a fresh save

Despite this, the problems persist.
