Rjmontez Your laptop is definitely getting BSODs. It's possible they're happening during the shutdown sequence and you're not seeing them, either because the computer is shutting down or because the notification appears so briefly. But they're clearly happening.
I've seen enough issues reported with newer Nvidia graphics drivers that I would suggest reverting to the one from mid-March, which seems to have been stable. You can find it here:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/
Choose Game Ready Driver as the Download Type to be able to go back further.
You'll need to clean-uninstall the current driver, which is a good idea anyway given the issues you're seeing. I'm not saying it will definitely help, only that it might, and that it's a worthwhile troubleshooting step.
If you get another freeze or crash, please post a fresh dxdiag. Please also look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor. Click Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
Look for errors that happened at exactly the time of your most recent Sims 4 crash. If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here. If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away. I'd like all the errors that happened while you were playing this time around; just let me know which one(s) happened when the game crashed or froze, and which happened earlier.
puzzlezaddict Thank you for your reply! Ok, so I am getting the BSOD I wouldn’t have known otherwise. I really appreciate you pointing that out. Just to clarify, before I saw your message about using Display Driver Uninstaller, I had already uninstalled all the NVIDIA apps software from my system. I then installed the GeForce driver you suggested from mid March. I’ve noticed some slight changes since rolling back the game does seem to run a bit smoother, especially when first launching into gameplay, so that’s a good sign. That said, I’m still experiencing some issues. I’ll go ahead and post a new DxDiag after this because the game did eventually freeze again this time while placing a base game 50 50 lot. Task Manager was even slow to load, but I eventually got it up and force closed the game
it wasn't letting me post everything so i had to do separate replys. attached is the new DxDiag
